VeroAge FAQ

Straight answers.

Everything people ask before they test.

Is this accurate?

Samples are run in a CLIA-certified lab, using clocks validated in peer-reviewed cohorts and used in 120+ interventional trials. No consumer test is a crystal ball; this is the best-validated measurement stack available.

Is this a medical test?

No. It supports clinical judgment; it doesn't replace it. DNA methylation biomarker outputs are intended to support, not replace, clinical judgment. They should be interpreted within the full clinical context, including history, physical examination, conventional laboratory testing, and imaging studies where clinically indicated. They should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis or treatment decisions. Testing services are performed by TruDiagnostic in a CLIA-certified laboratory. What happens to my DNA data?

Your sample is processed by our lab partner under HIPAA-grade safeguards. VERO never sells member data. See our privacy policy.

How often should I retest?

Every 6 months. Pace of aging responds within 3 to 6 months.

Can I do this if I'm on a GLP-1 or TRT protocol?

Yes. These clocks have been used to study exactly these interventions. That's the point.

Why is TruDiagnostic on the box?

Because we partnered with the lab behind the published clocks instead of white-labeling something weaker. VERO designs the journey; TruDiagnostic runs the assay.

Who shouldn't take it?

Anyone under 18, anyone looking for a diagnosis of a specific condition, and anyone who has had a blood transfusion or bone marrow transplant in the last 6 months, which can affect results. Ask your clinician if you're unsure.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. Kits currently ship within the United States only.

When will I get results?

9 to 15 business days after the lab receives your sample.

What's the refund policy?

Unopened kits can be returned for a full refund within 30 days. Once a sample is collected and sent to the lab, the test can't be refunded.

CLIA-certified laboratory. At-home collection, results in 9 to 15 business days.
